Plethora's Multidimensional Impact

Green Empowerment

Through comprehensive training programs, we have empowered over 250 refugee farmers with the skills needed for sustainable farming, ensuring food security and resilience against climate shocks. This initiative has not only fought hunger within households but has also created a green revenue stream for the community.

Innovative

Our actions in Nakivale are a testament to the power of community-driven change. By focusing on the strengths and potentials of refugees, we’re rewriting the narrative of what it means to be a refugee settlement, transforming it from a place of temporary refuge to a hub of sustainable development and innovation.

Plethora has graduated 700 refugees in a permaculture design course and supports them with irrigation tools to start their home gardens by growing food on a small scale.
